The Port of Los Angeles has a variety of heterogenous data sources. The Data Science Federation is providing an intern and guidance on how to integrate those datasets into an up-to-date shared data warehouse or data lake. Using that product, we hope to predict when heavy congestion and other adverse events may happen at the port in order to provide early warning to operations staff.
